Medics HELP is a not-for-profit organization. We do not have any paid staff. Our entire operation is run and managed by volunteers and we rely completely on the hard work of our volunteers and the donations of generous individuals like you to meet our needs.

At this time all donated money is being directed to the HELPing Kenya 2011 and Kenya Clinic & Community Centre projects. If you would rather have your contribution go to one of our other future projects please include a note stating to which project you would like your donation assigned with your cheque or in the Paypal "special instructions" link (on the last page where your payment goes through) by following the blue link with that title.
Charity Status Note:
Please note that as we are currently awaiting official registration as a charity under the Income Tax Act. While we are a non-profit organisation with charitable objectives, official registration as a charity under the Income Tax Act is still pending. We do not anticipate any problems with registration but we are obliged to inform you that registration as a Charity under the Income Tax Act can never be guaranteed. For this reason we can not issue any tax-deductible receipts until formal registration has been obtained as this would be both illegal and unethical.
Despite the above disclaimer we are confident, that in learning about our objectives and projects, you will agree with the importance of our planned work and the charitable nature of our goals. We assure you that any and all donations received will be used directly in advancing these goals.
